Apple Watch
Q: My apple watch is locked and not paired with my new iphone but I cannot input the code (i get an "wrong password" message) nor can i reset it! The watch and the phone are not paired how can I open/unlock the phone so i can reset and pair it??
My apple watch is locked. I know the passcode but I get an error message to reset it. It had been paired to an old iPhone which I no longer have. I cannot pair it with my new phone. I cannot access any general on the phone app. I cannot do anything! Why does Apple do this!!! Help

Hi
Follow these steps to erase your locked watch and pair it with your new iPhone:
- Connect your watch to its charging cable, with power connected.
- Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
- Press firmly on Power Off (do not try to slide it - just press down more firmly than a normal tap) and then tap on Erase all content and settings.
- Pair your watch using the Watch app, choosing to Restore from Backup if offered the option.
