Q: No more Sort by Song and No more Sort by Album

Here we go again.  Another iOS 10 improvement . Just like the Sort by Song feature was "improved" to now sort by Artist, the Sort by Album now sorts by Artist.  So we now have 3 Sort by Artist features and no longer have sort by song nor sort by album.  This to me is two steps backward and one step backward.  Yes I know what I just typed. I know the phrase is usually "One Step forward and two steps back". I just wanted to emphasis that this is totally steps backward in usability of the music app.  Again there is no more sorting by song and no longer sorting by album.  Only sorting by Artist.  Nice job Apple!

    Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities. 

     

    It looks like you're using the Music app in iOS 10 and would like the Albums and Songs sections to sort by album title and song title, respectively. Here's a step that may help:

     
    1. Go to Settings > Music. 
    2. Under the Library section, change Sort Songs & Albums to By Title. 
    After this, when you browse Albums or Songs in the Music app, you should see albums sorted by album title and songs sorted by song title.
