Q: How do I seperate iTunes libraries?
My family currently uses one iTunes library for all of our songs to be shared. I just bought a new iPhone and created a new Apple ID, hoping to have my own library of songs that only I can use. However, when I sign out of the family account on iTunes on our PC and sign into mine, all of the family songs are still appearing on my account. How do I make it so that all of their music doesn't appear when I log into iTunes with my personal Apple ID?
iPhone 6s, iOS 10.0.2

See Open a different iTunes Library file or create a new one - Apple Support. Changing which account is signed in doesn't change what is already in the library. It may be better for you to create a different user profile. That way one account is signed into one profile, and the other account is signed into the other, and each automatically opens the right library. You can share content between the libraries if you wish, however note that managing apps bought with multiple Apple IDs is more complicated than it needs to be so is best avoided if possible.
