Unable to change default behaviour when iPhone is plugged in

Hi - My iPhone 5C (running latest iOS) has stopped automatically launching "Photos" when I plug it in following the Windows 10 update and instead launches iTunes automatically and syncs fine. However I can't find how to change it back from iTunes to Photos (as I want to import my photos automatically WITHOUT USING iTunes).

All the help forum answers I've found tell me to go into the Autoplay settings within Win10 but the iPhone isn't listed. I have my camera listed, memory card defaults, but no iPhone.

Interestingly, now when I go into the Photos program and click the Import button the iPhone isn't picked up and the application tells me to insert my device - well the iPhone is plugged in! It shows under Control Panel > Devices & Printers as "Apple Mobile Device USB driver"

Can anyone suggest a fix please?

When your device is connected to iTunes look at the summary page for it and turn off the option to launch iTunes when the device is connected. Also under Edit > Preferences > Devices you might want to tick the box Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically.

I'm not sure about the photo import tool, but judging from other threads it may help to unlock the screen before connecting to Windows.
