Photos for Mac

Hi everyone

Hope you are doing well

I have a problem that I need help with

I use MacBook Air. and my problem is with Photos

I want to format my mac, and to make sure to save my data i put them in my External Hardsk

the problem is i can't take/copy my photos/videos that are saved in the photos

how can I Transfer it to my External Hardsk ??

A:

Use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS (journaled) with a wired connection and drag the Photos library to it intact as a single entity
