Virtual Reality for Mac?

My goal is to use VR with my mac for gaming. What I want to do is to use a program to render my Steam games side by side, use an application such as Duet Display or iDisplay to stream my Mac screen to my iPhone, and use a VR headset to view the streamed content on my phone in virtual reality.

Does anyone know of such a program that would render my Steam games next to each other for each seperate eye? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

FWIW, it is very unlikely you will see VR on Macs for awhile. There are various articles available online that explain why.

I have read the articles before and am aware that many Macs do not have a graphics card capable of handling VR, but what I am looking for is a piece of software that will allow me to render games side by side.
