Q: ios10 audio & alarm problem - phonecalls, podcasts etc

I updated to iOS10 a few days after it's release for my iphone 6s, and then again to the 10.0.2 version when that was released.

 

In the past week, I have had problems with my podcasts - pausing, restarting, almost at the end and it suddenly not being available. It has also started playing at double the speed, but when I look it's playing at normal speed. Siri also interrupts the playback without me doing anything - the phone is in my pocket or backpack when I am listening to my podcasts.

 

I have also had phone calls cut out, and calls dropped as soon as my boyfriend answers. During one half hour conversation, the call dropped out 10 times. My podcasts were even playing during my phone call.

 

I also have a problem with my scheduled alarms not going off in the morning - this has happened about 5 times now over the past 2 weeks - luckily I've woken up and realised and haven't been late for work!

 

I've done a hard reset (home & power button simultaneously) but am not sure what to do next.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I had this issue too, which occured after I updated and backed up the phone. 

     

    I did a hard reset.

     

    If you don't know how to do a hard reset, press the lock & home buttons at the same time and hold.  The phone will shut off.  Let it sit for about a minute, then power on.  This worked for me.
