Can't hear podcasts

Recently, I can't hear my podcasts, even though the sound indicator is moving up and down

as if they are playing, and the speaker is on, because I can hear other apps, like iTunes

and radio station apps. This just started a few days ago, after listening to podcasts for years

on this iPad.

I Removed the podcasts app and re-downloaded and installed it, but that didn't solve the

problem.

Any ideas?

A loose connection can do that, and often does. Push the mini jack in all the way - and hard.

Also, try this with another ear speaker, if you have a spare.

There are two ways of increasing the volume: one on your device, and the other on your player. Make sure both are turned on and up.
