Hi this is my iPhone 4s 64gb using with single cellular network in India but it purchased from hingkong bcoz of that its carrier lock so that's why I m not using other sim card with this phone .and I wish to unlock carrier to activate with anothrr cellular sim card...plz unlock my iPhone 4s which imei 990001071799985.I request to hongkong apple support for unlock carrier for worldwide any sim card...plz

Hi

Your SIMCARD lock can only be removed by the network provider its locked to.

I'm afraid we cannot help you from here. This is not Apple; we are a volunteer technical service. If you are the original owner, talk to the store where you purchased it from. If it is second hand, ask the original owner to do that.

Frankly, I don't think you will have much success either way, but what I have written above is the best route to follow. In most cases, the phones are tied to a carrier because they have been purchased at a special price by agreement with that carrier.
