Hello Apple community,
I just received a text from 'Apple' but couldn't figure it out. The text is something like üéé?y@@REG-RESP?v=3;r= after this its bunch of many other numbers and letters.
Do you know what is this about ? I just changed my sim card if it can help with the subject.

I am getting the same message from apple and I recently changed my sim card too. I don´t think its spam
I think it is related to the sim card change because and the activation of the new telephone number in iMessage
Do you still get the messages?
It's spam. I don't think I've ever had a text from Apple. It's not how they communicate with customers.

Hello. It is not spam. I got a similar message from Apple. It is about FaceTime and iMessage i think. I can't activate both. Need help 😟

Apple never communicates by text message with users. So by definition any text that purports to be from Apple is either spam or a phishing attempt.
I think you should read it, carefully. Yes, Facetime is activated by a silent text message sent to an Apple server. NOT sent to the user.
Read the thread you posted to. Apple never communicates via text messages. So if you got a text or an iMessage, it definitely is not from Apple.
