Q: Why am I getting emails I mail to myself coming from "Evernote upload"?

It made me look more closely so I can explain my situation a bit more clearly.

I'm "complaining" about what appears in Mail in the column on the left that shows your list of mail in whichever mailbox you choose to look at.  (I'm going to dwell particularly on the "Inbox" list and the "Sent" list.)

I just elected an email at random and forwarded it to myself.  Then, when I set the left column to show "Sent" mail, here is what shows in the list of those sent mails.

This would seem to indicate that I received an email from "Evernote upload", no?

When I open the email itself, however, it shows "normal" headers as in this sample of the same email above.

So, in reality, whenever I see an email in the left column which says it comes from "Evernote Upload" I now know it really comes from me.  No other emails there coming from other sources ever says coming from Evernote Upload.

But this is something new - last 2 weeks or so.  And it's annoying.

I do not use Evernote.  I do not even have the app installed on my laptop - only on my Phone, but do not use it there ever either.

Any ideas on how to rid myself of this glitch in my system?

If it helps, here is a list of the files on my laptop hard drive that include the name "Evernote".  I do not understand where all of them are or how they might impact this issue.

Recently updated both my laptop OS and my iPhone OS.  Guess what?  The problem seems to be gone.

Go figure...
