Why am I getting emails I mail to myself coming from "Evernote upload"?

Why am I getting emails I mail to myself coming from "Evernote upload"?

Sometimes as a reminder to deal with an email I remain it to myself.

It comes into my inbox from "Evernote upload".

This is a relatively recent change

I don't want this to continue. I want it to show that it's coming from me.

What can I do?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), Safari 9.1.1-Mail 9.3-Contacts 9.0

Lexie, thanks for the reply

It made me look more closely so I can explain my situation a bit more clearly.

I'm "complaining" about what appears in Mail in the column on the left that shows your list of mail in whichever mailbox you choose to look at. (I'm going to dwell particularly on the "Inbox" list and the "Sent" list.)

I just elected an email at random and forwarded it to myself. Then, when I set the left column to show "Sent" mail, here is what shows in the list of those sent mails.User uploaded file

This would seem to indicate that I received an email from "Evernote upload", no?

When I open the email itself, however, it shows "normal" headers as in this sample of the same email above.

So, in reality, whenever I see an email in the left column which says it comes from "Evernote Upload" I now know it really comes from me. No other emails there coming from other sources ever says coming from Evernote Upload.

But this is something new - last 2 weeks or so. And it's annoying.

I do not use Evernote. I do not even have the app installed on my laptop - only on my Phone, but do not use it there ever either.

Any ideas on how to rid myself of this glitch in my system?

Thanks for making me clarify my original post.

Steve

If it helps, here is a list of the files on my laptop hard drive that include the name "Evernote". I do not understand where all of them are or how they might impact this issue.

Hi Steven with the famous name...

Yes "interesting"...

And you are sure you don't use Evernote...

It looks as if it is the "group", not the sender.

Then:

If you do not use Evernote, delete it from your iPhone (ipa is the Evernote app in iOS).

Eliminate sharing for Evernote.

Delete all these Evernote occurences on your mac.

Then restart.

Same issue or better?

Lex
