Q: iTunes won't play some of my music

I can't play some of my music that I PURCHASED. It will just skip past some of the songs in my library. I first noticed it yesterday, then again today. I don't remember what song it was yesterday, but today's song was a cloud hosted song.

You said it will "skip past" some songs.  To me, that means you were playing a different song, and when it ended, and the next song you expected to hear did not play (some other song played).  Is that correct?  If so, what happens if you specifically double-click the song that just got skipped?  If you specifically choose to play that song, does it play?

No. I clicked directly on the song and it just skips to the next. Then I tried downloading the song, since it's cloud hosted, and it errors with URL "^0" could not be found.

Are all of your songs accessed from iCloud, or just your purchased songs?  Are all songs you see skipping being accessed from iCloud?  Are songs that do not skip stored locally, on your computer's drive?

Have you tried quitting iTunes, and then relaunching iTunes?  If problem still occurs, you may want to try restarting your Mac, then running iTunes, if you have not since noticing this problem.

Since this relates to purchased items accessed from iCloud (and your Apple ID), another thing to try is sign out in iTunes, and then sign in again.  You can do this from the iTunes menu bar, under Account.
