Oct 11, 2016 9:33 AM in response to TenorXby turingtest2,I suspect you may need to delete your iTunesPrefs.xml file in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes so that iTunes is forced to create a new one, which will hopefully retain the settings from one launch to the next.

Oct 11, 2016 9:40 AM in response to TenorXby TenorX,Just figured it out. There was a persistent little nag from Apple introducing Apple Music or something when I launched the new iTunes. It stayed on for about a half-second before opening iTunes in partial screen view. I quickly clicked the "no" option button before it disappeared and iTunes now launches as it always had before...in full screen WITH the sidebar. Yeah!
