Photos not showing in Family album

Hi,

I set up my new MacBook Pro and I cannot see the photos in the Family album inside the Photos app.

I am able to see all the photos in my iPhone and iPod Touch and new photos appear in the album without any problem. The issue is that I cannot see the old pics in that album (only in the newly set up MacBook).

Is there any way to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

Alejandro

Hi afharo,

Congratulations on your new MacBook Pro! It looks like you're unable to view your family album in your Photos app on your new Mac. If all new photos are syncing and visible on your devices, please check to see that the iCloud Photo library settings on the device that originated the family album are set up to sync across all the devices. Have a quick look at the link below for further assistance.

Hi Jay,

The issue was that I could see the Family album and just a few photos inside that album, not the full list I could see in all my other devices and Family members'.

But after a couple of days, all the photos synced properly and I am able to reach all of them (I guess it's just the Photos app enqueued the download as other sync actions were being carried).

Thank you for your quick response anyway.

Best regards.

Alejandro.
