Can I sync stored Apple Watch messages back to my iPhone or MacBook?

I may be the only person alive who is thankful that deleted iPhone messages are not automatically deleted from the Apple watch. However, I'm hoping there's an easier way to view them all, other than through the watch itself. Can anyone tell me how I can transfer the stored messages from my Apple Watch, back to either my iPhone or my MacBook - so that I can go through/view them?
