Q: SYNCING TROUBLES

I've been trying to sync my photos from my iphone6 onto itunes due to the fact that i literally have 0 storage and everytime i click an app that has to do with photos it glitches. So it would be really helpful if someone could tell me why everytime i try syncing my photos it says, "sync session failed to start" or "not enough free space" but by that does it mean on my phone or laptop??

    Hey there,

Thanks for being a part of Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand your iPhone's storage is full, and you're trying to import photos to your computer from it.  This process is different than using iTunes, as that's for putting information on to your iPhone.  For help with importing, please follow the steps outlined below.

    Import to your PC

You can import photos to your PC by connecting your device to your computer and using Windows Photo Gallery:

    1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your PC with a USB cable.
    2. You might need to unlock your iOS device using your passcode.
    3. You might also see a prompt on the iOS device asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap Trust or Allow to continue.

Then, follow the steps in these Microsoft knowledge base articles to learn how to import photos to Windows Photo Gallery:

When you import videos from your iOS device to your PC, some might be rotated incorrectly in Windows Photo Gallery. You can add these videos to iTunes to play them in the correct orientation.

Photos and videos that you sync from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes can't be imported back to your computer.

Learn what to do if you can‘t import photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer.

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Cheers.
