Q: Notification Question
From time to time while I'm on a website, I get a notification from dmgyoufile.com telling me that the new iteration of Adobe Flash Player is available and I should be upgrading. However, when I check the Adobe website it appears that I'm already running the most current version.
Is this just someone trying to get me to install a virus, malware, etc.? Or is there something to this?

Yes. Please read Beware bogus Adobe Flash "installers".
It's best not to use Adobe Flash Player at all. It's old technology that most websites no longer require. Flash Player's usefulness has largely been reduced to deliver bandwidth-intensive advertisements that you probably don't want anyway.
Uninstall Adobe Flash Player with these instructions: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html. They are already outdated, illustrating just how much Adobe cares about its own product.
