Q: iphone 6 plus reboot loop

It has been over 24 hours, My phone randomly resets.

The screen turns black, pulls up the apple logo, returns to black, and returns to apple logo continuously.

I cannot get to the home screen, and since I cannot get back to the home screen, I cannot connect it to my iTunes to restore it from a back up.

I have tried the hard reset, of holding the power and home button simultaneously, and it seems to have no effect.

I have let the battery completely die, charge it up a little, and then try to restart it, however it continues the loop.

Any other suggestions or something I am missing?

The only time i ever saw that happen was on a 3G with a dying logic board; keeping it cold kept it working.

Before we assume it's a hardware problem, though, try restoring from a backup from before the problem started happening.

Try putting it into recovery mode. Directions here- https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201263

Follow everything until you've restored your device then restore from backup - learn about that here- Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

    Hi!
I attempted what @AlexDolle commented above, and put my phone into recovery mode. It indeed stopped my phone from doing the reboot loop, however when I tried to restore my phone through iTunes, I kept receiving an Error code(9).

I then took the liberty of calling in apple support and after going through some general things (reboot computer/uninstall-reinstall iTunes) the representative ended up passing my case along to his Supervisor. Here he did a computer screen share with me, where he watched everything I was doing, and we were still receiving error code (9). I had to run diagnostics on my computer, and send them to him. He has been very helpful so far, he just left a voicemail for me, so I am going to call him back and see what the next steps are.

I would recommend going ahead and do what is stated above and put your phone in recovery mode, and try to recover your phone through iTunes. If you skip this and call ahead, this will probably be the first thing the representative asks you to do.

I will update you further when I get back into contact with the Supervisor, and see what he says. Hopefully you don't get Error(9) from it, and can simply recover your phone!
