If you have a device that is displaying Activation Lock, then if you were not the original owner, you need to contact that owner to have them remove Activation Lock. If you cannot contact that owner, then return the device where you purchased it and ask for a refund. There is no way to bypass Activation Lock, and the phone would be useless to you.
