iPad can only connect to public wifi but not private wifi

Hi all. My ipad cannot connect to any private wifi installed at home or iPhone's personal hotspot. It can only connect to those public wifi available in school, restaurant or Apple store, etc.

A network setting reset / factory reset / recovery in iTunes / recovery in DFU mode / reset in router cannot solve my problem. The problem has persisted for a few weeks, before that everything is working perfectly fine.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem? Or if there is any way to manipulate the settings in my router to make it function like a public wifi? Much appreciate your help!

Thanks for your reply! I can detect the network normally, just when I try to connect and input the username & password, it will prompt me the message of "incorrect password" or sometimes "unable to join network". I can sure the login information is 100% correct and all my other devices could connect to the same network.

And yes I have done all the reset works as mentioned before. Nothing works. I am wondering why even a DFU reset could not solve the problem. I can only come up with 2 possibilities then - either the problem is related to the MAC address (or Wi-Fi address in iPad) which will never be changed, or it is a hardware problem. But I have no way to deal with them either...
