Q: 10/11/16 8:18:33.002 PM com.apple.BKAgentService[512]: can't get sender: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=4099 "The connection to service named com.apple.bird was invalidated."
So I have an entire Console filled with these messages over and over again, as far back as Console goes, and my iMac mid-2011 Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) takes forever to load when I log in. And will no longer back up to my Apple Time Capsule. And it takes upwards of five minutes or more for my Dock to load and my iMac mid-2011 display to show Finder stuff like my Macintosh HD icons. Also, Finder will no longer display icon thumbnails for images that are saved to my desktop or wherever. And I can no longer backup to my Apple Time Capsule because Time Machine stays it is in "Preparing Backup" mode forever and it never actually gets to the backup.
The common denominator - I installed all latest updates on my Mac (which was just the last latest Mac OS X update). Beyond that, nothing.
Except that my Mac has basically gone from a great computer that helps me in my business to a complete waste of my time.
If you have any expertise or knowledge in this area, please reply. If not, do not bother. And don't bother replying the pat "Try it in Safe Mode (doesn't work on my Mac because Safe Mode makes my display post constant upward vertical lines so that nothing is readable), or try it in another user account. There is no other user account. I am the sole admin and sole user of my Mac. And that is how it has always been.
What is different is that my Mac is now acting like the 2006 IBM PC that I abandoned when I converted our business to Apple hardware and software because it was just too cumbersome and too time consuming to try to keep it functioning properly.
Any ideas - only qualified ideas please.
