Brand new ipod touch 6th gen or refurbished ipod touch 6th gen

Hi! I am currently using ipod touch 4th gen and wanting to upgrade. I need a bigger storage for music and has been wanting a new ipod touch. Since apple did not upgrade the ipod touch this year, I've been planning to buy the ipod touch 6th generation in either 64gb or 128gb. But I'm conflicted if I should opt to buy a brand new or refurbished ipod touch. Price wise, the refurbished ipod touch is almost a $100 cheaper than the brand new one. If anyone could share their thoughts on this one. I've seen in YT that the refurbished ipod touch is working just fine but if anyone has purchased a refurbished ipod touch & would like to share their experience, it would be a great help.
