iCloud

Q: No Notes access after ios10 update!

I Prefer NOT to ever use any iCloud features. I do not have iCloud setup nor do I want it on my iPhone.

When I launch Notes all I get is your Upgade Notes screen.

Surely it must be possible to keep Notes local to my iPhone?

iPhone5 ios10 upgrade apparently kills local Notes!!!

Thanks for being a part of Apple Support Communities.

I see there's some confusion about upgrading your notes. This is in order for notes to be used with iOS 9 or later devices, as well as OS X El Capitan, and does not have to do with iCloud. If you'd like to learn more, then please see the information in the link below.
