How to connect HP 23xw Monitor

Hi I am using Mac Book Pro with Retina 8GB ram.

Recently I upgraded to latest OS 10.12 since then I am unable to connect my HP monitor to my mac machine earlier it was getting detected. But now it get detected and again disappear because of that my mac display goes off/on where it try to attempt. I am trying using HD cable.

What is happening I am unable to find out that monitor working all fine with my Windows machine.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3

Hey nitingautam,

To make sure we are on the same page, you are not able to use your HP monitor with your MacBook Pro Retina. Let's see if we can get that sorted out.

Since you are unable to detect your external display, take a look at the article below. It will have you check your cables, reset the SMC and NVRAM, as well as performing some other troubleshooting to get using multiple displays with your Mac.
