Q: Shared icloud account, how do I create new one without losing data

My wife and I share the same apple ID and also have one of our kids on it as well. How do I sign out from the shared apple ID and sign in to the new one I created without losing my contacts, notes, photos, etc on my iphone 7?

iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.2

If everyone is sharing an Apple ID (which is frowned upon by Apple), then there's no reason to sign out of it in order to sign into something else.
