Q: how to switch Apple ID in Apple Store for a sotfware

Hello,

I've installed few iBook Air for colleagues at work and have pre-installed for instance "Photos" or "Evernote" from the store using my Apple ID. But that means my password was needed to update those software and it's also not possible to change the Apple ID at this moment. If we bought a new stuff on the store, it was possible to choose a new Apple ID.

Some idea to fix that ?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

    Hello cyborgjeff,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to be able to keep apps updated and I'd like to help.

At this point it wold probably be best if you colleagues set up their own Apple ID's and reinstalled those apps. This will require them to purchase the apps and iBooks again on their own accounts. Once an app is installed it is not possible to change the Apple ID it is associated with. You would need to install it using a new Apple ID. The article below will help your colleagues setup new Apple IDs:

Create and start using an Apple ID
