I understand that you've recently shared a note in the Notes app with a friend, but aren't seeing the changes that they've made on your device. You may need to make sure that you've shared the note for collaborative purposes by tapping
, as using
will share the desired note with another person (as well as your subsequent edits), but their edits will not appear on your copy of the note.
Regarding notes shared withInvite someone to collaborate on a note through Mail or Messages. Or copy a link to the note and send it to them any other way you like. Then they can open your note and start editing, just like that.
- Open the iCloud note that you want to share.
- Tap or click
. - Choose how you'd like to send your invitation.
- On your Mac, click Share.
Want to know if you're already sharing a note? Look for
at the top of your note or
in the notes list.
:
Share your notesWant to send your note to someone but not collaborate? Tap
at the top of the note, then choose how you want to share it.If you accidentally delete a note that someone else shared with you, you can re-download the Notes file from the original sharing invitation. When you re-download the note, it contains all of the changes to that note up to that point in time.
All my best! -
Oct 13, 2016 7:21 AM in response to brenden dvby MountaineerMarine,Hey Brenden,
I have done all of those things and neither have helped to see the changes. The changes did appear this morning, or possibly overnight, so is it possible it's a wifi thing on either of our ends? Like the note wouldn't update unless on wifi either in her end or my end?
