Unable to execute any AppleScript in Automator :: "Syntax Error"

I am running OS X 10.11.6. I am unable to get any AppleScript to run from Automator. All running of code is met with "Syntax Error". What am I missing? Please see the attached screenshots.User uploaded file

I am running El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G1004), and a Run AppleScript action displays properly for me in any of the screen shot examples that you have provided, and in all cases, the log reports a green completion.

Boot into Safe Mode, and try your Automator Run AppleScript tests again. Then reboot normally, and test again. What changes do you notice?
