Q: energy saver
Energy Saver won't shut down computer on time scheduled ever since I upgraded to Sierra, it will wake on time scheduled with no problem.

For Mac shut down (a total power down), one thing to remember is this point from the Energy Saver Help file (arrow below). Your Mac will not shut down if it is "Sleeping" when the shut down time comes. Basically, for automatic shut down to work, you need to set the computer "Sleep" slider to the extreme right (to "Never"), but you can have the display go to sleep at whatever interval you want (something similar to the screen shot at bottom).
