Can't sign into NHL TV with my Apple ID

I started a subscription with NHL TV on my iPhone through the NHL app with my Apple ID. I used my fingerprint to authorize the subscription. When I go onto my computer and try to sign in through the website and enter the credentials associated with my Apple ID, it says username and password invalid. How can I sign into the service with my Apple ID credentials through devices that do not recognize an Apple ID?
