iPhone app stuck on installing

I'd like to download the game "Infinity Blade II" (which i have already had purchased and installed before and then deleted it) on my iPhone, but the only thing i see is the stop square button. When i tap it, nothing happens.

I've seen a post about this, and it says clicking the app's update button in Apps list in iTunes helps, but iTunes on my Mac doesn't show any apps in the list AT ALL!

Restarting or reseting the iPhone and restoring it from a backup didn't help. I use iOS 10 & macOS El Capitan.

Hello MaxDFlower,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to keep your apps working as expected and I'd like to help. Whenever we see a downloading app freeze, it's a good idea to begin by restarting your device and then trying the download again. If it still won't complete, I'd recommend signing out of the app store on your device.

You can sign out under Settings > iTunes & App Store. Tap on your Apple ID to select "Sign Out"

In reference to the Apps not displaying in iTunes, since you are using iOS 10, you want to be sure your iTunes it up to date as well. Have a look at the article below to make sure you have the latest update.

If the behavior persists, or you run into any trouble, the entire community is here to help.
Best Regards
