Q: Downgrade Photos library (Sierra to El Cap)

I downgraded a machine from Sierra to El Cap and did a manual back up of the Photos library. Trying to use that backed-up library (from Sierra) in El Cap Photos app is incompatible. Is there a way to import/downgrade the library so that it will be compatible with El Cap Photos?

    No - you need to restore your backup from before you upgraded - or is you are using iCloud Photo Library yu can start a new system library under El Captain and let it download from ICPL (no people or projects but all of your photos and organization)
