Not on my Macs it didn't. Everything worked except the Writer module. I tried it on three different Macs running Sierra.
Hmmm, I just tested 5.2.2.2 on one of the Macs that had an issue. It is working. Now I'm wondering if I had tried an early beta release of 5.2.2.2.

Yes, as I had recently mentioned, 5.2.2.2 does seem to be working on Sierra. El Capitan is old news. đ
Some of us have Macs old and new, it certainly matters to me how it behaves on ElCap

Thanks for the reminder about LO. I have made occasional use of LO to look at old documents going back to CW! Your post confirmed that I was using an ancient version. I now have LibreOffice Vanilla and it is working with Sierra.
