Q: my mac is getting slower

Hello,

These days I am working on some MS Office Excel database. It is not so big and has only 264 entries but it has a lot of categories extending horizontally.

Normally my mac works fine but it becomes really slow as i try to open the excel file.

what should i do

thanks.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
