Hi Folks! Since i updated my iphone 6 it seems I cannot import photos to my computer. Its says iphone is locked but it is NOT locked. I cant import in Iphoto either or lightroom. I tried many things suggested here. nothing works. Thoughts? Suggestions? please help!

This terrible situation is still not solved. Any ideas? I did run into one solution! Reset network settings. BUT----------- DO NOT CONNECT TO THE NET AGAIN!! once you do i think the phone sends info to apple and somehow the phone is BLOCKED AGAIN!

What is the EXACT message you're getting about the phone being locked?
HI Folks. Since I updated my iphone the program Image Capture and iphoto says my iphone is locked and to unlock it. But the iphone is not locked
If you have not yet done so, it may help to restart your iPhone.
I updated my ipad as well this morning and now image capture doesnt work on that either. ufff.
So its definetly something to do with the latest update and my computer. Non of my photo apps work on import of photos. Its says ipad locked and iphone locked...but they are not locked. Image capture and iphoto says that.

To sync an iPhone running iOS 10, you will need to update iTunes to version 12.5.1.
Get the latest version of iTunes - Apple Support
Note that you may also need to update your computer's operating system in order to be able to install the latest version of iTunes.
I see....so they are trying to force me to update. I hate that. My computer is used for music and video production and the latest OS is incompatible with my software. Great. The war begins. Apple....Dissapointing.
Ah never mind hahaha. I am running the latest itunes version. But since i updated to os 10 on my iphone and ipad all software that has to do with photos says "Locked"
I load down my photos from the iPhone just via the Windows file manager (Win7prof 32bit).
To get it work under iOS10 I found out the following procedure:
- connect the phone via USB with the computer; when it's for the first time one USB driver is installed
In this state the phone doesn't appear in the file manager!
- switch on iCloud Drive on the phone; a second different USB driver is installed
--> the phone appears in the file manager as external drive!
- if you don't like to use iCloud Drive, switch it off on the phone; the phone keeps appearing in the file manager even when you plug it off and on again.
