Q: how could I sync my old phone to a new one?

If the old & new are iPhones:

Make a backup with old iPhone

Restore from backup with new iPhone.

Make sure computer iTunes is version !2.5.1

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Once everything from the old phone is in iTunes you can restore to the new one.
