Facetime in iphone bought from qatar

HI

My bro has bought a new 6s plus 64gb from doha qatar for me. before even i open the box, is thereany ways to identify this phone has ft disabled ?

As i generally know the hardware itself has a blocked FT in middle east , there might a chance where these phones were just in case originates from a different country .

THis is to know weather will i have a chance on FT if i open the box in india and connect to my indian itunes and my indian sim and indian apple id ???

Google the identifying number listed on the box. The "number" may start with an A with second character a 1and then three numberic characters and maybe a / and more letters

FaceTime isn't banned in Qatar, but if your iPhone originated from that country, it'll lose FaceTime if taken to India. It's tied to specific Middle Eastern SIM cards.

The exact item to check is whether its model number has AB, AE, or possibly AH just before the slash.

Did u mean to google product no ? When i did that a lot of UK based websites are displayed. I can see imei no , serial no and product no at back of box.

Googling shows that MKU62B/A is an iPhone sold for the UK market.Also, as Neil said, it it was for the Qatar market it would still have FT since Qatar does not prohibit FT.
