iPhone 7 plus (brand new) charging very slow

iPhone 7 plus charging very slow. Replaced with new one by service center it too has the same issue. Again i have submitted at service center with adapter and cable along this time. Any one faced this kind of issue? i bought in Singapore. So finally its two brand new phones hit with same issue charging slow. I waited 25 days to received my first which ordered on 9th Sept. Then i used it for 1 week then found this issue. Apple replaced it in 28 hours which is appreciable but again same issue for replaced one as well so again went in service center with in 20 hours. One thing i don't understand is that i am the one only facing this? If again Apple replaces it, again same issue what i have to do?

Finally service center returned my replacement phone saying it has no problem. so i tested again draining battery to zero and charged it mobile data off and location services off it took 3 hour 25 minutes to reach 100%. Which is unacceptable so gone through various websites, user comments and you tube video and found that this only can be fixed using 12W (ipad charger) so your phone can charge faster using this adapter.

To reconfirm this i had a chat with apple support they are confirmed that we can using ipad adapter which will not impact the phone in any manner.

My brand new (less than one week) iPhone 7 Plus takes a very long time to charge. I'm leaning toward a visit to the Apple Store for troubleshooting / replacement.

Totally agree with you. I got my new 7 plus today, (upgraded from 6S) and it charges INCREDIBLY slow. When the phone arrived this morning, it had 90% charge. I restored via iCloud while plugged into power - and within 2 hours I was down to 30%. It's taking 15 minutes or more to charge 2-3%. I thought the battery on the 7 Plus was supposed to be superior to the 6S?

Any advice is appreciated!

Mine too! I have never had an iphone's battery drain so fast. Even if I am doing nothing I lose 25% in an hour and a half.

Great. It would be nice for them to give us the charger then. It's ridiculous how long it takes to charge this phone.

My new iPhone 7. First day set up. Charging very very slow. It started with 85% power, had 58% battery level after brief setup and started charging. After 4 hours, it reached 66% level. Terrible.

I bought a power strip from Walmart that has 2 USB ports on it, that solved my problem. Hope this helps.

A very useful thread. My new iPhone7 has taken 3 hrs to go from 27% to 100%. The third charging. Thankfully I have an iPad charger so see what happens next.
