Q: QuickTime Pro 7 not playing mpeg's Sierra 10.12

SInce I have installed Sierra 10.12 my QuickTime Pro 7 is not playing .mpg videos.

I did buy the component for this a its always worked until now

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

The MPEG-2 Playback Component hasn't been needed since Lion was released years ago:
If you can't install the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component - Apple Support
If they don't play in QuickTime X then use another player like VLC.
