Email messages in Iphone won't open

I have Outlook and Gmail email on my iphone. It has always worked beautifully. However, all of a sudden I cannot open email messages that appear in my in-box on my iphone. Help! The messages are there, they just won't open. I have checked settings and have plenty of storage, so that does not appear to be the issue.

I understand from your post that you're currently unable to open any emails from the Mail app on your iPhone. Let's go ahead and force the Mail app to close, restart the iPhone, and see if you can open up any emails:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
