Q: iPad 2 issues
One of my kids' iPads has started acting strangely recently. It's an iPad 2, iOS 9.3.5
When visiting most websites, even apple.com, or Facebook, it shows a pop up saying 'Cannot Verify Server Identity'. Usually we can continue past it, but it's unusua.
At about the same time, the YouTube app has stopped working. When we load it, it just has a message at the top saying 'Error while loading Tap to retry', or sometimes, there's a message at the bottom that says it is offline.
I've tried signing into YouTube again, and using it in signed out mode, and I've tried reinstalling it, and changing some of the in app, and settings in the ipad settings, but that hasn't helped, it still doesn't work! I've also tried restarting the iPad.
youtube has always worked fine up until a few days ago when this pop up started appearing in safari. Could the issues be related? What can I try to fix it? If I do a factory reset, will things like game progress be lost?

I assume those are http secure (https) websites. If that's correct, check your date and time settings. Make sure they're correct. You will get warnings when you access secure websites with incorrect date and time settings. Factory reset will erase everything.
