MacOS Sierra and HP Scanjet G2410

Thanks, my scanner works fine now.

This worked for me:

1. Install the official HP Driver for Mac OS X 10.6 from their official wesite (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL31539/sj-78355-5/HP_Installer_Scanje t_v2.4.4_Ph5.dmg).

2. Install the software patch for OS X 10.7 & 10.8 (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL40089/cs-97791-1/HP-Scanjet-Update-f or-OS-X-10.7.dmg)

3. Install HP Scan Utility (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL56375/cs-135648-1/HP_Scan_Utility.dm g)

Have you tried to reach for the printers web interface?

Open your browser

Type in the IP adress of your scanner like 192.168.1.111

If you are lucky your printer/scanners web interface opens

go to

Software

click on Scan

Make options on type and size

click preview
