Leftover parts of Java, Flash and more.

I recently was cleaning up my iMac and deleted a bunch of stuff that is unnecessary/ I don't use, so I deleted Chrome, Office 2011, Java and Flash Player. Im confident that I removed them from my computer but there are still things that look like: com.microsoft.Word.plist

Is it safe to keep these on my computer? (There are lots of things like this and I don't want to manually go through all the folders deleting them.)
