Oct 13, 2016 3:20 PM in response to Amysue17by Niel,1. Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, click here, and download El Capitan from the Mac App Store. If you previously got Yosemite from it or Apple says so, you can upgrade to it instead.
2. See #1.

Oct 13, 2016 3:24 PM in response to Nielby Amysue17,Thank you very much for this help! I have to free up some space to install that software, but it looks like this will do the trick. :-)

Oct 13, 2016 3:27 PM in response to Amysue17by Limnos,I don't know what browser you are using. I run OSX 10.9.5 and have never encountered a web site that won't work because of it. Usually web sites are limited by the browser version you are using, not OSX except to the extent that browsers upgrades may not be available for older OSX versions. As recently as last January I was regularly browsing the web with Tiger OSX 10.4.11 with very few problems.
