Q: Apple Music not working with Family Sharing

So my family and I set up Family Sharing so that we could get the Apple Music family plan. Long story short, everyone else in the family had access to Apple Music and I do not. On occassion I have been able to access Apple Music for short periods of time, but after a few hours I always lose access to it.

I have signed out and back into my Apple ID and also iCloud, did a complete reset of my phone, contacted Apple support three times, changed my Apple ID password, been removed and readded to the family.

Any suggestions? A techy friend suggested that my Apple ID could have some sort of glitch?

iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2

You can give this a try...

go to your music. (Not in your settings, the music app.)

Click on the "For you" heading, click on the head symbol.

If you are already signed in, there should be an option to "view apple ID"

Click that, it  may ask for your password.

You will see a category labelled "family sharing" click that.

It may tell you that you are part of a family, whatever said family is.

Go back to the main page and click done.

Now go to search, find a song to download, it should be available for you now. (Hopefully, fingers crossed.)

I had the exact same problem as you, I had to keep asking the organizer to add me to the family account, everyone had there music, but mine kept disappearing. I logged out, logged in etc. Nothing worked for me except this. I don't know why but it did. Hopefully you have the same luck!!
