Q: imac keeps requiring restore

I have had to restore from Time Machine 3 times in the last 2 weeks, so obviously something is wrong. Occurs if locks up and I have to power if off and restart. Any suggestions, and what am I likely to hear if I take to Apple? I don't know if it's the drive or something has become corrupted? Thanks in advance, Fred

Thanks but I've tried that & it shows the hard disk is functioning OK. Guess I'm off to Apple
