I've had this issue for several versions of Itunes: When switching screens in Itunes, say from my library to the store, or to my wishlist within the store, while making the switch Itunes produces a strange "scratching" or "squeaking" sound. This happens on both my desktop and my laptop. The functionality of Itunes is unaffected, but the sound is very annoying.

However, while the person asking the question appears to have resolved their issue, saying that the sound was set as a default sound in Itunes, they offer no clear description of how to disable it. I've looked through the preferences in my copy of Itunes (currently 12.5.1.21), but can find no setting that would appear to be responsible for the sound.
I've decided to ask this question anew in hopes of getting fresh eyes on it. Please help!
