Q: Apple Mail - New Mailbox - Location is "Local"

Hello,

I use Apple Mail (last version of macOS Sierra) and have several local mailboxes, which are organized in sub-mailboxes. So, I have a mailbox hierarchy (tree), e.g.:

Photography

Photography - Canon

Photography - Canon - Lenses

Photography - Nikon

Photography - Nikon - Lenses

... and so on.

When creating a new mailbox within mailbox "Photography - Canon" via context menu, I have to choose a Location and a Name. The Location is defaulted with "Photography - Canon" --> works as expected.

When creating a new mailbox within mailbox "Photography - Canon - Lenses" (--> the last mailbox in hierarchy) via context menu, I have also to choose a Location and a Name. BUT: The Location is defaulted with "Local". Here I can´t choose "Photography - Canon - Lenses" as location. And in general, I can´t choose a mailbox as a location which is the last mailbox in the tree of a mailbox hierarchy.

(Of course, workaround is to create the new mailbox in "Local" location and move later in correct mailbox, in my case "Photography - Canon - Lenses")

Have anybody an idea, why it is not possible to choose the last mailbox in case of a mailbox hierarchy when creating a new mailbox?

Thank you for support.

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)
