It's impossible for anyone here to say what they did. Unfortunately, you have now forfeited your right to have it serviced / replaced by Apple. They won't touch it.
Take it back to whoever fixed it. If they can't make it right, either find a competent 3rd party repair shop, or buy a new phone.
