Hi

Follow these steps to erase your watch:

  • Connect your watch to its charging cable, with power connected.
  • Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
  • Press firmly on Power Off (do not try to slide it - just press down more firmly than a normal tap) and then tap on Erase all content and settings.

Follow these steps to erase your locked watch and re-pair it with your iPhone (as previously advised):

  • Connect your watch to its charging cable, with power connected.
  • Whilst keeping your Apple Watch on the charger:
    • Press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider.
    • Press firmly on Power Off (do not try to slide it - just press down more firmly than a normal tap) and then tap on Erase all content and settings.
  • Re-pair your watch using the Watch app on your iPhone, choosing to Restore from Backup if offered the option.

No - it is not possible to restore the watch with iTunes.

The watch can only be set up again by pairing it with an iPhone 5 or newer running the latest version of iOS.

If your replacement iPhone is restored from a backup of your lost iPhone, then you may be the offered the option, when pairing, to restore the watch from a backup.

So my issue is this, I bought a Apple series 2 watch from my local pawn shop and since they didn’t bother to have it reset by the owner at the time, it’s now “unusable”. Well I was able to get this watch for a great deal. My issue is no matter what the erase all button never pops up. Also the emergency sos button under the power off button isn’t there either. I’ve been following the directions. Any ideas?
